CHANGE IN SEC REPORTING RULES U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission issues a climate risk disclosure rule for public U.S. companies to comply to. Climate data is a force to be reckoned with, and should be taken into consideration when evaluating risk. This new rule took effect on March 6th and calls for U.S. listed public companies that were not already participating in reducing emissions, to take immediate action in transitioning. This includes planning to reduce or offset emissions, and yearly reporting from companies issuing a net-zero plan.
